The task sheets and information sheets in this presentation will help you to carry out the practical tasks which make up the coursework for your Short or Full Course GCSE. There are three main tasks to be carried out:

The Major Task

The Extension Task

The Timed Practical Task

You will be able to work through the tasks at your own rate and your teacher will be able to give you any help that you may need. It is important to complete as many of the tasks as possible if you want to be entered for the Full Course GCSE.

When you complete a task and print it off make sure you print your name on the document as proof of ownership; it also helps when you come to collect it from the printer! (E.g. in the database add your name and tutor group to the address name field in the final record.)

Finally, make sure you keep all draft copies of work and any printouts of things that were wrong and had to be corrected. This will prove that you have spotted mistakes and made the necessary corrections.
